Our first Impact Readiness Sprint wrapped in March with 31 startups, a jury of six impact investors, and three winners heading to the EBAN Congress 2026 stage in Vilnius. If you missed it, applications for Cohort #2 are now open, apply here.
What is the Impact Readiness Sprint?
The Impact Readiness Sprint is a 3-session, fully virtual programme for early-stage impact startups. Over three weeks, participants assess, structure, and communicate their impact potential in a way that meets investor expectations.
Delivered as part of the EU-funded CLARIFAI project, the sprint is free of charge. It combines hands-on impact measurement, AI-enabled self-assessment on the Tau20 platform validated by an expert, and direct engagement with impact VCs and business angels.
What Cohort #1 looked like
31 startups. Three sessions. A jury composed of Jacopo Losso (EBAN), Dr. Patrick Greß (Evolutiq), Ingeborg Koppenol (DSM), Frederik Lorenz (Karma Capital), Pedro Olazabal (Zubi Capital), and Christina Figiel (BetterVentures).
The jury selected three winners to pitch on stage at EBAN Congress 2026:
- MIMA Technologies: radiation-free, compression-free microwave imaging for breast cancer detection in dense tissue
- reLi Energy: AI-powered battery management software extending energy storage lifetime and cutting operational costs
- CoffeeFrom: upcycling industrial coffee grounds into bio-based thermoplastics, with social employment inclusion built into the model
