From 2 to 5 March, Tau20 will be at 4YFN 2026 in Barcelona, one of Europe’s largest gatherings of early-stage founders, investors, and innovation ecosystems, co-located with Mobile World Congress at Fira Gran Via, Hall 8 (North).

This year’s edition runs under the theme “Human intelligence unlocking limitless innovation”, a framing that sits close to what Tau20 is building: AI that enhances human judgment to make impact measurable, comparable, and credible at the earliest stages of a company’s life.

Who You’ll Find There

Three members of the Tau20 and EBAN consortium team will be on the ground:

If you’re a founder mapping your impact thesis ahead of a raise, an investor building or stress-testing an impact portfolio, or an ecosystem builder working on how capital and purpose connect — we want to meet.

Impact Breakfast: Wednesday, 4 March at 9am

We’re hosting a small, focused breakfast for impact founders and investors on Wednesday, 4th March at 9:00am, on a rooftop with a direct view of the Catedral de la Santa Creu i Santa Eulàlia, Barcelona’s 15th-century Gothic cathedral.

Breakfast setting is intentional. We want a real conversation — not a pitch session — about what it actually takes to make impact legible to capital at the earliest stages. What metrics matter. What doesn’t. Where the gaps are between what founders can measure now and what investors need.

Spots are limited. If you’d like to join, reach out directly: info@eban.org

Why 4YFN

4YFN draws founders and investors at exactly the moment Tau20 is most relevant: before impact reporting becomes a compliance obligation and while there’s still room to build it into the business model. The conversations happening in Barcelona this week reflect a broader shift: investors are no longer satisfied with “Does it work?” They’re now pressing for “Is it meaningful and can you prove it?

Tau20 exists to help founders answer that question early, and help investors trust the answer. For each case, the group identified GHG benchmarks, sized market potential, and selected measurement methods — then drafted a one-year impact measurement plan using AI tools.
